Alkaline batteries are single-use, 1.5V power sources, best for low-drain devices like remotes and clocks. Lithium batteries offer high energy density, lasting longer in high-drain, high-performance devices, and operate well in extreme temperatures, though they are more expensive.Lithium batteries are more lightweight than alkaline batteries. This makes lithium batteries perfect for portable devices. Lithium batteries provide a voltage of 1.75V or more, while alkaline batteries provide a voltage of 1.5V. Therefore, the performance of lithium batteries is higher and could be cheaper in some cases depending on brands.
